My home was visited by the representative who evaluated the required work. The representative had ample expertise, amiable disposition, and was accommodating to my budgetary constraints in light of the preliminary work required to commence tiling. Although my personal situation did not permit me to proceed with the project, I would undoubtedly consider them in the future, should I decide to resume the work order.

Initially, I was hesitant to use CrackerJack to hire a contractor, as it was a new experience for me. However, I contacted Paulo Santos to request an estimate for tiling my powder room, measuring 35 sq/ft. The same day, he arrived on-site to provide an estimate. Unfortunately, my floor was not level, and it sloped to the sides of the room, with a 1-inch bow in the middle. Therefore, I needed a contractor who could tile the floor and level it at the same time. Initially, they attempted to level it using mortar and expanded metal mesh, but this did not work with the uneven floor. At my request, they removed it without hesitation and replaced it with 1/2" Durock/Hardie backer boards. We chose a weathered wood grain porcelain tile with dimensions of 6x24, and it turned out beautifully! Despite the extra day of labor, Paulo did not charge me, and he even offered to lend me his nail gun to attach the threshold transition strip since I was completing the remaining bathroom remodel myself. He offered to come back at any time if I encountered cracks in the tile or grout, demonstrating his dedication to his work while maintaining a fair price. Thank you, Paulo, for exceeding my expectations and prioritizing customer satisfaction! In the future, we will keep you in mind for future projects.
