Ryan Shephard, formerly from Cincinnati and now located in Chicago, is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist with a vast range of experience in different genres of music. He has played in several bands across the US, with his most notable band, Freak Mythology, having played over 500 shows in his 10+ year career. Freak Mythology, which started in 2012, has won multiple national and international awards for their music.

In 2018, Ryan and Brad Wehlitz formed the acoustic duo, Freak Duology, and have played hundreds of shows across the country. Ryan now performs primarily in the greater Chicago area, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio for both private and public events.

As an artist, Ryan's passion lies in creating connections with his audience through live music, and his expertise is in delivering quality performances. His standard one-man acoustic set starts at $500, and he is available for potential acoustic duet and trio sets.

Ryan has received numerous accolades over the years, including being named the CrackerJack Top Pro of 2021, a two-time nominee for 'Best Rock Act' in the Cincinnati Entertainment Awards, and winning the 1st place in the Madison Theater Band Challenge 2018, the largest Battle of the Bands-style competition in the Midwest.

His band, Freak Mythology, was named PRNAV's Album of the Year in 2017, and he has been selected to play at many national and regional music festivals like Bunbury Music Festival, Jersey Shore Music Festival, OHMSTEAD Music Festival, and Rhythm Brew Music & Arts Festival. Additionally, he has received local and national FM radio airplay, as well as international online radio airplay.
