I charge as low as 75/hr, depending on how frequently we meet, and offer discounted rates when bulk introductory packages are purchased.
We can meet at a variety of venues including parks, my private gym, or your home, as I have plenty of travel equipment.

As a licensed psychologist in relatively good health at 65 years old, I had worked with several personal trainers in the past but was never able to commit long-term. I was desperate to incorporate strength training into my routine and stumbled upon Ryan through an internet search, where his clients had given him excellent feedback. I was especially drawn to the fact that Ryan was willing to come to my house in Pasadena for our sessions.
Initially, we agreed to three training sessions per week for a three-month period. Ryan helped me select the necessary equipment and I ended up creating a small training area in my house (as shown in the photo). Ryan has been very accommodating and flexible with scheduling, always communicating if he's running a bit late or if I need to reschedule. I appreciate that he doesn't charge fees for cancellations or changes, unlike some other trainers I've worked with in the past.
Working with a personal trainer has motivated me to push myself further and I've learned so much from Ryan about reaching my muscle's limits and the cardio benefits of weight training. After only being able to do two pushups in the beginning, I was amazed to be able to complete over 20 pushups after three months of training. After this initial period, we reduced our sessions to two per week and I've never felt healthier or stronger.
Unfortunately, I experienced a groin injury from playing golf in September that limited me to upper-body exercises only. Although it would have been easy to give up on training, I'm glad I didn't. Ryan has been just as supportive and we continue to meet for upper-body workouts. I'm looking forward to my recovery so I can resume our core and lower-body workouts.
Throughout our time working together, I've been consistently impressed by Ryan's professionalism, vast expertise, and outgoing personality. While physical training can certainly be a challenge, reaching my goals has made it incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. The benefits of training extend beyond physical conditioning to my mental and spiritual well-being. I wholeheartedly recommend Ryan without any hesitation!
