RS Rodent Stoppers' owner, Luther, promptly responded to my call about potential rat infestation in my two attic spaces on a Sunday. During his visit, he identified entry points, trails in the insulation, and fecal trails abound. He surveyed the house, taking note of the roof-vents, weep-holes, and soffit/trim-gaps before elaborately illustrating all areas to be treated in writing. After reaching an agreement on pricing and the necessary work, he set traps and applied poison to the attic spaces. Upon his return, Luther installed wire-mesh in all weep-holes, 4-way roof-vents, sealed the area, caulking the areas that may provide entry. He sealed gaps and vents in the attic spaces, and discovered a dead 8-inch rat in one of the traps while working. Instructing me to check the traps in the following days, Luther assured me that the nuisance sounds would cease after a week. However, if I continued hearing them, he would re-assess the areas to determine if the rats were getting water from some attic source. Commendably, Luther went above and beyond by sealing even more areas than were initially suspected.
