At first, my plan for a front porch and kitchen renovation was entrusted to a local General Contractor. Initially impressed by the company owner's courteous and competitive bid within my budget constraints, we kicked off the project. However, the reality of the situation soon turned bitterly unpleasant. The contractor was overextended, as communicated to me by his employee, and demonstrated rude unprofessionalism throughout the resulting 2.5 month-long affair (originally scheduled for three weeks). The kitchen's non-functional status for two-and-a-half weeks forced me to eat out, and ultimately led to their termination. Regrettably, I received a poor-quality job that nearly demanded full payment. Fortunately for me, CrackerJack was there to bail me out of the situation. From the outset, the CrackerJack team, led by owner Roy, was empathetic and accommodating towards my challenges. Roy was transparent about deadlines and adhered to them as promised.
