Throughout my entire life, I have had pets, and for the last 6 years, I have been professionally caring for other people's animals. During that time, I volunteered at the AZ Humane Society, Saving One Life Animal Rescue, and Wildlife Zoo and Aquarium, and have developed a fondness for all types of pets, including exotic ones.
As a person who adores animals, I enjoy cuddling with them at home and providing a safe environment for them. I understand that some pets are intimidated, aggressive, or have special needs, but I have no trouble working with them and earning their trust. I also have significant experience administering medications and subcutaneous injections/fluids to special needs animals. My backyard is enclosed, and there's a doggy door in place for your pets to enter and leave as they please.
Since I work full-time at home, I am almost always available for your pets. I've rearranged my workspace so that I can play with them while working, and I'm free on weekends. I usually take my furry friends to the dog park on Saturdays.
As a responsible caretaker, safety is always my top priority. I diligently check my small yard for dog waste every day and sanitize any areas they mess up inside with a vinegar-water blend. Additionally, I aim to reply to pet owners' inquiries as soon as possible, usually within four hours. If anything seems amiss with your pet, such as blood in their urine, skin tags, weepy eyes, or frequent itching, I will bring it to your attention immediately and take them to the nearest or preferred vet per your request.
To prevent dogs from getting into hazardous areas, I have baby gates set up around the house. I also encourage owners to bring something that smells like home, such as a bed or blanket, to provide a familiar sense of comfort to their pets.
Lastly, anxious dogs and visiting cats get their own spacious rooms away from other animals to destress and adjust.
