As a passionate teacher with a master's degree from the Pennsylvania State University, I welcome students of all levels and ages. I possess a strong background in music theory and specialize in both beginning and advanced violin and viola techniques. My love for teaching started when I was 15, having been trained in the prestigious Venezuelan Youth Orchestras. Today, I am also an education advisor for the Classical Music Institute in San Antonio. As an adult, I am a beginner to the violin with no prior music experience. It was imperative that I found a tutor who could guide me from square one. Initially, I had attempted self learning through YouTube, but upon taking a couple of classes with Ronald, he pinpointed a few basic errors I was making such as incorrect positioning of the violin and fingers and inadequate learning techniques. Ronald is highly knowledgeable, patient, and is excellent at initiating beginners. I wholeheartedly recommend him!
