Having dealt with a number of photographers before who delivered subpar photos, Roi's natural approach was a welcome change. Roi was hired by us recently to take maternity photos of my wife, but it quickly turned into a family shoot as we were amazed by his work. In comparison, the photographers we've had in the past would simply arrive a few minutes ahead of us to scout the area, and identify good spots for taking photos. On the other hand, Roi arrived hours earlier, as he thinks about his photography in various dimensions such as the light, pedestrian traffic, positioning for optimal shots, and time utilization. These questions never crossed our mind but the outcome was impressive. The maternity shoot produced numerous stunning photos, and the family shoot was even better. Our three-year-old son was involved, and Roi worked hard to establish a connection with him, resulting in impressive candid shots that were full of small, natural moments instead of the usual contrived shots with fake "cheese" smiles that we all remember. Roi's ability to interact with our child made it simple for us to relax and be ourselves, which led to candid shots that captured the genuine dynamics of our family. Of course, we also got some beautifully framed traditional photos. However, Roi's skill in capturing candid moments distinguished him, resulting in candid shots that were superior to any we've had in the past.
