After speaking with four different roofing contractors, we ultimately selected RME for the job. In autumn of 2020, Tim Gander accompanied our insurance adjuster in examining our roof and confirmed that there was hail damage. Unfortunately, due to cold weather conditions, RME was unable to install a new roof until November. Despite the wait, Tim regularly kept in communication with us throughout the process. In addition to our home's roof, our porches also required attention as the corrugated metal roof was also damaged by hail. However, the insurance company underestimated the cost of repairs, requiring Tim to negotiate on our behalf with both the insurer and the subcontractor who would oversee the porch roof replacement. Due to cold weather and continued discussions with the insurer, there was a significant period before the porch roofs were replaced, but Tim ensured that the replacement was done correctly. Additionally, two of our porches also required repainting, which Tim personally completed once the weather had improved. We're thrilled with how RME handled our roofing project from start to finish, from negotiating with the insurance company to completing all tasks on time. Despite four small projects that our insurance didn't cover, RME provided us with a very reasonable quote that we accepted, and Tim completed the work beautifully.
