My experience in inspecting houses is unparalleled. As a former structural engineer, I have designed and analyzed structures for years, including multi-story buildings and various custom-built homes up to 5,200 square feet. I have inspected over 1,500 homes throughout Connecticut, Western Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, ranging from 250-year-old properties to brand new constructions, where I still managed to find structural issues. Additionally, I have completed more than 250 construction progress inspections for a local bank and have served as an expert witness in several construction cases.

My experience provides me with a deep understanding of the construction process, providing insight into the trade-offs, issues, and decisions that affect the quality of the finished product. My inspection approach follows ASHI standards and is comprehensive, covering the entirety of the property from roof to basement. During my inspections, I answer all of my clients’ questions, educate them on necessary maintenance, and provide energy-saving tips.
