Ric is an incredible mentor, capable of guiding beginners through chords, scales, and music theory to mastering home recording. Despite playing guitar for 15 years, teaching himself all along, I began taking lessons from Ric and I only regret not starting earlier. With four years of lessons under my belt, the transformation has been profound. Starting with basic pentatonic scales in one key, I now write and record my own songs with Ric's expert guidance. More than just teaching technical skills like scales, modes, triads, and arpeggios, Ric has a talent for discovering why something sounds and feels good. The ultimate goal of a guitarist is to turn all they learn into something they and others enjoy listening to, and that's just where Ric shines.

My guitar lessons with Ric have just begun. Ric has been remarkably patient when it comes to identifying errors and encouraging the simplest route for advancement. Furthermore, his informative and compassionate approach during our sessions has been most helpful.

Ric has been an outstanding guitar instructor. His friendly demeanor and flexibility make every lesson a pleasure, and our conversations always add to the experience. The studio itself is pretty awesome as well. My satisfaction with Ric is clear, as I will be enrolling my seven-year-old son in his first guitar lessons with him. Thumbs up!

Despite living a good distance from Ric's studio, I decided to hire him as my guitar teacher due to his impressive credentials, prompt responses to my inquiries, and willingness to teach a complete novice like me. It didn't take long for Ric and I to develop a strong rapport. Rather than imposing his own agenda, he took the time to ask me about my goals and has been expertly guiding me towards achieving them with patience and expertise. Ric always makes lessons fun, but he's also committed to building good habits and technique to ensure I learn the right way. Since learning my first "C" chord months ago, I've had a blast playing many of my favorite songs from my younger years. I highly recommend Ric as an excellent and personable guitar instructor!
