When booking a recording session, I prioritize two main things. Firstly, the engineer must be skilled and knowledgeable in sound fundamentals, plug-ins, and mic techniques for various instruments and vocals. Jake, the owner of the studio, excels in all these areas and has handled diverse genres competently. As a producer, I can attest to his excellent execution. Secondly, the recording space must be conducive to creativity. This brand new studio, located on the 22nd floor with a stunning view, is well air-conditioned and includes a seating area outside of the control room. Equipped with top of the line plug-ins, an SSL console, and a fantastic selection of microphones, it offers a rare opportunity at a highly competitive rate. Moreover, the studio's location in the heart of the city, close to Penn Station, makes it readily accessible from any of the 5 boroughs or nearby New Jersey. In short, I strongly recommend this studio for anyone looking to book a professional recording session.
