Meeting Cynthia felt like destiny. I needed a furniture refinisher for my chest of drawers and two night stands and decided to use Thumbtack to find one on the Peninsula. Cynthia's bid was the most affordable and she seemed enthusiastic about the project when I called her. She and her husband came to pick up the pieces and we had a pleasant chat. The next day, Cynthia called and suggested painting the stripped wood because the marks from previous finishes would not look appealing. I remembered our conversation about decorating pieces in a Mackenzie-Child's style and suggested a collaboration. Cynthia, Tony, and I worked on a whimsical design that incorporated my color palette. The result was beyond my expectations - my pieces are now creatively beautiful and unique. Cynthia and Tony were a pleasure to work with, and their work is extraordinary and affordable. I'm excited to work with them again in the future.

My whole wrought iron table set, consisting of chairs, love seat, and a side table, was revamped and painted by Cynthia. Her husband, Tony, also contributed to the excellent work they did. They were incredibly thorough and took their time in their undertaking. As a result, my backyard furniture looks spectacular, unlike before when it was old, stained, and rusty. I am positive that I will enlist their assistance again for future projects.

Cynthia exhibited great attentiveness towards my inquiries, concepts, and apprehensions. Not only did she refurbish my three-decade-old oak table and half-a-dozen chairs but she also re-covered the seating. Utilizing the excess material, she created a harmonizing table runner. Throughout the entire process, she remained cheerful and promptly finished the task.

UPDATE: Another Project Completed by Cynthia! After the outstanding outcome of the first project Cynthia undertook for me, I entrusted her with another job, this time involving my late grandmother's antique desk and mini-chair. The pictures hardly do the piece justice; the desk is now truly breathtaking. I am immensely satisfied with the results and delighted to work alongside such a devoted artist as Cynthia. ORIGINAL REVIEW: My grandfather fashioned a very old item of furniture many years ago, which I had Cynthia refinish. I had tried to strip it myself but found that the varnish utilized back then was dauntingly stubborn, so I abandoned my efforts. I received the piece from Cynthia today, and it is absolutely stunning. She uncovered a magnificent "Bird's Eye Maple" that had been concealed beneath the old stain (Before and after photos).
