Description:

Our business is located in Peachtree Corners, just north and east of the Atlanta perimeter, and we have been training dogs for over 12 years. Our team, Pups to Pooches Dog Training and Behavior Consulting, consists of Certified Professional Dog Trainers and Behavior Consultants (CPDT-KA, CDBC), with national (CCPDT) and international (IAABC) certification at the highest level. Our expertise goes beyond training as we are also skilled in modifying dog behavior.

If you're struggling with issues such as aggression, reactivity on or off lead, separation anxiety, generalized anxiety, noise anxiety, jumping on people, pulling on lead, or any other behavioral problem, whether with a new puppy or rescue dog, we have the necessary knowledge, education, and hands-on experience to provide you and your dog with the guidance you need.

We offer in-home private lessons, puppy training and socialization, behavior consultations, and behavior modification for simple and complex issues (including various forms of aggression). We also hold group classes both in person and online, including puppy kindergarten, basic manners, specialized classes, and workshops. Moreover, we offer AKC S.T.A.R Puppy and Canine Good Citizen evaluation, and all classes are taught on the grounds of Pet Med Plus Veterinary Clinic.

Ann, our head trainer, is a graduate of Catch Canine Trainers Academy and a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed. She also holds the IAABC title of CDBC, an award given to less than 300 trainers and behavior consultants worldwide. Additionally, she is a Certified Family Dog Mediator and a Certified Pro Dog Trainer (PDT) from Absolute Dogs, based in the UK.

One of our team members, Kaya Forstall, graduated from CATCH Canine Trainer's Academy (CCDT) and is now a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA). Her ongoing dedication to education in the field of dog training and behavior is what enables her to provide exceptional guidance and support to clients.

Our methods are reward-based and force-free. We are passionate about not only working with dogs but also building healthier relationships between humans and their furry companions.

We have enlisted Ann's help to train our 4-month-old female German Shepherd puppy, and we are very pleased with our experience so far. Ann has done an exceptional job training me along with my reactive Boston. Previously, I was making many errors, but now Ann has helped me become assertive, which has considerably calmed down my dog. It's important to realize that at times, the responsibility lies with the owner and not just the dog.
