In consideration of your valuable time, I only offer training services in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Boynton Beach. Please note that I do not provide boarding and training services. My training style is unique and based on positive reinforcement that is force-free and non-dominant. Your pup will always be a top priority during our sessions. Simply tell me what you want for your dog and I will ensure that they achieve it. Training begins from the very first lesson.
To ensure that my clients are fully prepared for a new dog or puppy, I encourage them to have a conversation with me either before or shortly after bringing their pet home. I can offer advice on puppy training, including immediate potty training, to make sure that your furry friend is well-prepared for life at home. Additionally, rescued dogs will typically require a unique approach with both rehabbing and obedience training to overcome any prior experiences.
I provide all training sessions within your home, as this is where your pup is most comfortable and has the fewest distractions. Please note that my training services cannot be provided in homes where people smoke cigarettes, vape nicotine, or marijuana, or where there are cats, as I am highly allergic to these elements.
With over 30 years of experience training pups and their humans, I provide customized lesson plans and tailored courses to ensure success for you and your pup. I offer unlimited text and call support at no additional charge, as well as recommendations for doggy day care, boarding, vets, ER hospitals, foods, treats, and supplements. Additionally, I provide training for legitimate therapy, service, and emotional support dogs in compliance with Federal ADA and Florida laws, with additional costs and time considerations.
My clients consistently achieve the results they desire in reasonable amounts of time, with a 10-lesson package starting at $1000 when paid up front. Payment for training is only accepted in cash or credit card via the Square banking device. Please note that all training packages are non-refundable. All services are protected by a legally enforceable contract, ensuring that your pup receives the full course of training.
I request that my clients do not ask me to provide free auditions or single lesson charges, and all lesson changes must be made with 24 hours of notice. Discounts are available for clients with multiple pups or those who have adopted their pets from a rescue.
My training approach builds like a 3-layer cake, with the top layer focusing on extraordinary manners, trust, and respect. The middle layer entails troubleshooting problem behaviors with learned cues and techniques, while the bottom layer focuses on creating a calm, centered, and Zen pup, capable of controlling their impulses. My training approach creates AKC Canine Good Citizen test passers who are a joy to be around.
The reason I'm a dog trainer is because I love spending time with puppies and helping them to learn and become well-socialized pets. Seeing the results of my work in happy pups and pleased owners fills me with joy.

My life with my puppy Benny has been made easy, calm, and fun thanks to Puppy Dog Luv and Wendy. Wendy is a wealth of knowledge on all things dog, and from our very first call, she answered every question I had. She quickly became friends with both Benny and myself, and her patient approach to each lesson instilled me with confidence. Her technique is so calming that Benny was focused for the entire lesson, and even during his breaks, he would bring his favorite ballie to Wendy to play more. Wendy's short homework assignments were easy to follow, making each subsequent lesson more productive.
Under Wendy's expert guidance, Benny passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen test and even got to learn some agility techniques during our last half-hour. I was amazed at how quickly he learned new commands, such as "drop it" and "come," due to Wendy's use of reinforcing words.

Wendy has been an excellent decision for my pup, Beau. When Beau arrived as a nine-week-old Maltese, I was a new pet parent and overwhelmed by his care, as well as the pressure of a difficult condo renovation. Right from the start, Wendy and Ellie developed a positive rapport which resulted in Ellie greeting Wendy like an old friend. Wendy shared valuable insights about dog behavior and needs with me, which proved to be extremely beneficial when Ellie fell ill.
