Description:

Thank you for taking an interest in me! I am thrilled to see that you are taking steps towards creating a lifelong hobby. As a violin teacher, I offer a unique approach to learning that prioritizes comfort and individuality. Through my method, even beginners or intermediate players can acquire skills that other teachers may not have mentioned before, which help accelerate their learning after a period of practice.

By teaching via body balance and discovering each student's unique organic approach to playing, my students enjoy an easier learning experience. Additionally, beginners typically achieve a warmer tone in a shorter time, and none of my students have to experience the pain commonly associated with playing the violin.

I am the only teacher that I know of who has a specific approach to teaching the violin pain-free and from an organic muscle memory approach, which I studied in England. I am proud to say that I have coached students from all over the world, from England to the United States, as well as several actors for the big screen, including Patricia Arquette.

I have been playing the violin since the age of two, bringing over 50 years of hard-won experience in both performance and teaching. Throughout my life, I have received extensive training and have performed as a soloist and with various orchestras worldwide. Currently, I am the concert master for Johnny Mathis and perform regularly with many other celebrities.

If you're considering me as a teacher, I welcome you to schedule a free online consultation to ensure that we're a good fit. I also encourage you to speak with my current students directly for a personalized review. Furthermore, I teach both locally and online, so you won't be restricted by geography.

Finally, let me clear up any confusion regarding my name's pronunciation. It's pronounced like the "Y" in "Lynn" and the "I" in "dinner," with emphasis on the "Nell." My unique name is a compromise between my parents that I've been explaining my whole life. Thank you, and I look forward to helping you enjoy playing the violin!

For the past 9 years, I have been a pupil of Dynell, my violin teacher. I started out as an adult student with a shaky bow arm due to stage fright, but thanks to Dynell's specialized training in England, I learned to play the instrument without pain or performance anxiety. Dynell's teaching method effectively eradicated my bow arm tremors and stage fright, enabling me to confidently participate in musical events at my local church. I greatly appreciate her professionalism, friendly demeanor, and strict teaching style, all of which have fostered my love for music.
