Pro Guitar Lessons for all levels

As the writer of "An Essential Foundation for Guitar" and an active session guitarist, I provide a fast track learning route to guitar players of all levels and styles. My lessons offer numerous tips and tricks to swiftly enhance your skills, ensuring consistent and gradual improvement.

With my approach, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire fretboard, covering scales, chords, music theory, ear training, and songwriting, while enjoying playing your favorite songs!

For beginners, I can help you get accustomed to playing a variety of songs in no time. Intermediate to advanced students can learn how to play any song or guitar solo by ear, in addition to receiving valuable advice and material for improvisation over sets of chord changes.

I take pleasure in witnessing my students' evolution, whether they are playing blues, rock, heavy metal or experimenting with jazz changes. The possibilities for your playing will be limitless, and I am eager to share my expertise from my 38 years of playing and teaching.

Education-wise, I hold a Bachelor's Degree from Berklee College of Music ('94), and boast an impressive performance experience that includes the Pageant of the Masters Orchestra in Laguna Beach, Jersey Boys on Broadway and 1st National Tour (Franki Valli music), Movin Out on Broadway, and Hairspray on Broadway (with John Harrington of Steely Dan fame).

I have also worked on recording and performance projects with members of prominent bands like The Lumineers, Guided by Voices, and Jack Johnson, and have even made appearances on TV shows such as Jay Leno and The Today Show.
