I once believed I needed a particular alteration, but they informed me that it was unnecessary, which saved me more than $500. As long as I reside in central NJ, they will be my go-to for electrical work.

I recruited PEM to handle four electrical assignments in my residence. One of these projects entailed wiring additional light fixtures in a 20-foot-high ceiling with difficult access. Prior to reaching out to PEM for an estimate, I had contacted two of the three electrical contractors recommended in the local "Best Report." One of these contractors provided me with an estimate for the exorbitant price of $69, while the other could not find time in their schedule to accommodate a visit for a paid estimate. PEM's owner came to my house and spent half an hour there, taking photos, answering my open-ended questions, and providing a free estimate. The contractors who charged a high price came and spent 90 minutes at my home, but they only tightened some screws in the main box. They never adequately communicated the fixtures they would use or how they would execute the assignment. PEM set themselves apart by not only offering reasonable pricing but also clearly explaining the process they would take to ensure a uniform appearance of the new and retrofit fixtures in the 20-foot-high ceiling. They flawlessly completed all four assignments as briefed. I look forward to using PEM for future projects. Ironically, the fact that the estimate was free wasn't the most significant motivation for me. I was drawn to the professionalism and expertise of the team. I have experience managing construction in a professional capacity and have personally carried out remodeling and renovations, including wire-related work, so I am a relatively sophisticated consumer of these services. The PEM technicians arrived promptly, completed all the work with exceptional neatness and proficiency, and displayed professionalism and respectfulness throughout the project.
