When my insurance company inspected my home in the Oakland Hills, it became apparent that I needed a railing. I reached out to Porter Fabrication for assistance, and Sam replied quickly to my inquiry on CrackerJack. As someone who was unsure of what to do, I was grateful for his speedy response. Based on my description of the necessary work, he provided me with an estimate and scheduled a visit to my home within a few days. Despite the difficulty of traveling from SF to Oakland during rush hour, he arrived close to our agreed-upon time and informed me of his arrival time via text. During his visit, he took measurements and explained what was required to meet the insurance company’s code. He estimated that the project would take two weeks to complete, and he delivered on that promise. The job was finished on a rainy Saturday, and he installed the railing with skill and precision. Although there were a few unforeseen issues, he handled them effortlessly and professionally. I strongly recommend Sam for any project because he gets the job done right.

Sam successfully completed a challenging task within the estimated time frame. He managed to achieve the objective by investing only a couple of hours compared to the extensive labor, using thousands of OEM parts from highly occupied mechanics. It was indeed an effortless decision for me. Although I hope I do not require his services in the future, I am contented with Sam's presence.

Porter Fabrication expertly cut 7 inches off the legs and added new feet. As an added bonus, they even applied a clear coat to the legs for additional protection. The finished product appears excellent and perfectly fulfills our needs. Furthermore, I sincerely appreciate Sam's decision to perform the job during COVID-19. As an essential worker, he had permission, but he went above and beyond.

Working with Sam was a delightful experience. My task was challenging as it involved extending a chandelier lamp tube, but Sam displayed impressive creativity which resulted in a fantastic-looking extension. Thanks to his efforts, I can now proudly hang my exquisite lamp from the ceiling of my 23-foot high room.
