With over 20 years of experience teaching piano, my goal as an instructor is for all of my students to achieve good technique and artistry. By tailoring individual piano study plans catered to each student's specific needs, I have learned to adapt to each student's pace of learning. I incorporate a variety of piano methods from new and old schools, including Faber, Finger Power, Hanon, etudes from classical and romantic periods, Bach, and pieces from various composers such as Schumann, Tchaikovsky, Bartok, and Prokofiev. My combination of teaching methods allows students to make significant progress in a short amount of time and confidently showcase their skills in biannual recitals that I organize in a friendly and fun environment.
I welcome beginner and advanced students of all ages and adapt to their individual learning speeds to cultivate their skills effectively. Through my method, my students are able to play small songs with good technique and artistry within two to three months.
Located at Saint John Episcopal Church in Chicago, IL, I offer free trial lessons and have received top marks from my students' parents. I am dedicated to becoming a better piano instructor with every lesson I teach, consistently improving my students' artistry and piano performance.
