Piano Lessons by Debbie

As the teacher, I provide students with a range of opportunities to improvise alongside my accompaniments. Additionally, I engage in duets with my students as it fosters teamwork and listening skills. Students are encouraged to consider how harmonies complement the melodies they play. I have also discovered a piano series in which the students take center stage as the orchestra accompanies them in playing a simple piece of music.

In addition to these offerings, I would like to propose Choral Music Conducting. This would enable students to conduct their own choir or gain an understanding of what it takes to keep a choir functioning as a cohesive unit.

I take great pleasure in getting to know my students and sharing my knowledge of music and piano with them. The prospect of hearing about their musical experiences is always exciting to me, and I urge my students to share anything music-related. Witnessing a student's hard work pay off as they begin to understand a tune on the piano or produce harmonies during a duet is an indescribable joy.
