With over 30 years of experience in strength, flexibility, and endurance training, I am available to work with you indoors or outdoors at your convenience. I possess all the equipment and expertise needed to whip you into shape in no time. My qualifications include a BA in Physical Education and an MA in International Commerce and Policies, as well as certification and training as a professional personal trainer at various fitness centers such as LA Fitness, Sport and Health, and Life Time Athletics clubs. Specializing in strength, flexibility, and recovery from traumas and illnesses, I am adept at working with clients of all ages, including children, seniors, and those in-between.
I possess a sub-specialty in proactive self-defense, which does not require mastery of advanced techniques. Using your existing physical abilities, natural instincts, and comfortable movements, I can teach you how to protect yourself using a knife, nunchaku, or stick, against cutting and striking weapons, and even against an unarmed or armed aggressor.
With over 30 years of experience in martial arts, military service, and coaching, I am confident that I can exceed your expectations. I teach beginners and advanced learners in one-on-one or small-group sessions. Sessions can be held at your location, a gym, or outside. I hold a third-degree black belt (currently pursuing fourth-degree black belt) in Tae Kwon Do, and am a certified World Taekwondo Federation practitioner, as well as an experienced practitioner of Systema and SAMBO, Jiu Jitsu and Judo (Brown Belt), and military-grade hand-to-hand combat and self-defense.
Pricing for my lessons vary between $80 and $120, and you can enjoy a 40% discount for each additional person in the session. Details can be discussed in-person or over the phone.
To me, teaching and training is an art of sculpture, shaping not only the body but also character, spirit, and will. That's the most rewarding part of my profession!
