Partisan Painting LLC

Upon receiving my request to install curtain rods in my new home, Samantha confirmed her availability and quoted a price of $40 per hour based on her profile. The installation took less than 1.5 hours and as per the expected price, I was anticipating to receive an invoice for $60. However, to my surprise, Samantha sent an invoice for $180 claiming that CrackerJack did not display her accurate rate (which it did) and that she had to bring in an additional employee resulting in double the cost. I was never informed about the need for a second person during our discussion, nor did she mention any additional charges. This seems like a bait and switch tactic which is highly unethical. I would like to warn other users to be vigilant before finalizing contractors.

Although I am satisfied with the quality of their work, this company appears to be experiencing significant growing pains. The lack of communication, with numerous unreturned phone calls and text messages, along with missed deadlines, resulted in our moving into our new home being postponed. If you have considerable flexibility and aren't in a rush, their work is of excellent quality. Despite having good intentions, they appear to be struggling to address these issues, and therefore, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Partisan Painting until they establish a strategy to overcome these challenges. Here is my unbiased evaluation of their pros and cons: Pros: their commitment to quality is outstanding, and even if errors are made, they work diligently to correct them. They also work within a budget, although they may not be the least expensive option. Cons: they have significant communication gaps. We have encountered a lack of follow-up, missed appointments, and deadlines. Additionally, there is no single point of contact, and we have received different promises from the owners, the owners' sibling, and a project manager who was later fired.

Recommend highly! The people and results were fantastic, making for a wonderful experience!
