CJ is my voice instructor with an emphasis on musical theater. He's punctual and travels to my residence, a particularly noteworthy feat throughout the winter season. Not only is he gifted and well-versed in his craft, he is also congenial, making each session a pleasure to attend. I eagerly anticipate my lessons with him!

Initially apprehensive about hiring an online piano instructor with no previous reviews, I eventually took the plunge and it turned out to be the best decision I have made. At 25 years old, I had zero knowledge of piano, except that it has black and white keys and I wanted to learn how to play it. However, after my first lesson with C.J., I could identify every key as well as different chords. This may not seem like a huge feat to some, but for me, it was a huge step forward. I was even able to read sheet music, a concept I had tried and failed to understand before. C.J. had a knack for explaining things in a way that just clicked for me, and by the end of the lesson, I was confidently looking at sheet music and playing the notes on the piano. It was an awesome feeling! C.J. helped me not only learn how to play the piano, but he helped me understand music too, making the process both easier and more enjoyable. Aside from being a virtual wizard in the piano, C.J. also shared fascinating stories about the people he taught and played with, which made the experience even more enriching. From someone like me, who knew nothing about the piano, to one who's been playing for years, I highly recommend C.J. as a piano instructor. He’s simply that good!

It seemed like fate when I discovered that I was already acquainted with C.J. and that he coincidentally came by my area once a week. Additionally, he is understanding of my occasional need to miss lessons and possesses the ideal background I require.

My 5-year-old daughter had a good first day. The instructor thoroughly explained the lesson plan and offered helpful suggestions. She felt at ease and was even introduced to playing the piano during her singing lessons.

C.J. is now giving lessons to my child who is finding them incredibly enjoyable. C.J. has gone above and beyond by providing Star Wars music, which my child is a huge fan of. This added touch has positively influenced my child's motivation to practice and eagerly anticipate each upcoming lesson.
