In 1995, I completed an Exercise Science internship at Northlake College/CIAR, followed by becoming certified by the International Sports Science Association in the same year. The next year, I furthered my education with a focus on the Bio-Mechanics of Strength Training at CIAR. In 1997, I expanded my knowledge base with Post-Rehab training with AAHFP certification. In 1998, I specialized in training Special Populations at CIAR. In 1999, I attended the Fitness Institute for Training, and in 2000 I gained IFTA certification in Kickboxing and Major League Ball Training through NSCA.
The following year, I became proficient in Combat Assault Operations with ISSA-USMC and helped develop bfitanywhere software as a Consultant and Model. In 2002, I focused on Close Quarter Combat training with IPTTA-USMC. In 2004, I became a Golf Conditioning Specialist through PTS certification.
My training includes the Bio-Mechanics of Strength, Golf Conditioning, Special Populations/Seniors, Post-Rehab, Boxing Basics, and Combat Conditioning. I aim to provide safe and effective fitness programs and interventions to change lifestyles and address various limitations, injuries, disease, and treatments. Additionally, I strive to help people achieve functional fitness, core involvement, flexibility, and endurance in a supportive environment.
