Description:

My approach to furniture refinishing is steeped in tradition - I refer to it as "old school" because of my extensive background in French Polishing, which involves the meticulous application of hand-rubbed shellac. In the rare instances that stripping is necessary, I exclusively use environmentally-friendly products. While I am not a professional carpenter or cabinet maker, my expertise lies in painting kitchen cabinets, refurbishing various types of furniture, and restoring solid wood pieces. I also enjoy using milk paint to showcase the natural grain of the wood, while adding a modern touch to vintage furniture. My ultimate goal is to revitalize your furniture so that it can once again bring joy and admiration to your home. Please note that I do not restore outdoor furniture, and I prefer to work with clients within a 25 mile radius of my workshop.
