Hello! I offer guitar, bass guitar, banjo, ukulele, mandolin, bouzouki and harmonica lessons. I have over 50 years of experience playing and am passionate about helping both novice and advanced players to enhance their musical abilities and deepen their love for music.

My teaching approach is supportive and tailored to your needs. I can help you learn specific pieces, read music, delve into music theory, accompany your singing with guitar, write songs, feel confident jamming with friends, master fingerpicking or improvisation, and more.

I also enjoy working with children as young as 4 who are keen on learning music (let's chat about your child's individual requirements).

Whether you're a complete beginner, self-taught, or have had years of formal training, I would be delighted to help you infuse your life with more music!

For over a year now, I have been receiving remote banjo lessons from the incredible music instructor, Otis. His vast knowledge, patience, and flexibility make him a true joy to learn from. His kind demeanor and fun approach create an enjoyable learning experience. As a banjo beginner, I was amazed by my growth under his guidance. Otis is an outstanding educator known for his remarkable patience and his ability to blend learning with fun. His lessons are eagerly anticipated by me every week. Upon relocating to Rhode Island in 2018, I felt it would be an ideal time to brush up on my guitar skills and take lessons once more.
