Greetings! As the proprietor and educator at Optimistic Tutoring Solutions, I bring 17 years of experience in tutoring an array of subjects and grade levels. Additionally, I have earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts Degree in Curriculum and Instruction/Elementary Education from the University of Colorado – Denver.

Through in-person and Zoom sessions, clients of Optimistic Tutoring Solutions have seen improvements in their MAP scores, grades, and standardized test scores. Furthermore, clients have increased their confidence by receiving encouragement that they can overcome anything.

Throughout my education, I have taken courses related to teaching math and reading to children. In addition, I have completed a professional development course on teaching math from Stanford University. My additional training includes certification in Barton reading and spelling program for dyslexic children and Singapore math.

Each of my tutors has a degree, experience in teaching and tutoring, are highly skilled in their teaching areas, have a passion for teaching and helping children, and are highly positive individuals. Through rigorous hiring practices and recommendations, Optimistic Tutoring Solutions ensures that each tutor is highly qualified.

We offer tutoring services for children at varying levels of skill, such as typical, gifted, special needs, and dyslexic children ranging from preschool to high school. We offer both in-person and Zoom sessions.

At Optimistic Tutoring Solutions, we utilize curricula in reading, writing, and math that align with the common core curriculum. The reading curriculum is one that I utilized when I was a reading intervention specialist. These curricula are also easily adaptable to online learning.

In addition to our core services, we offer test preparation programs for the SSAT, PSAT, SAT, and ACT. Our clients have been accepted by some of the most prestigious boarding schools such as Phillips Academy Exeter, Phillips Academy Andover, Deerfield, Hotchkiss, Cushing Academy, The Hill School, and Berkshire School, and various colleges such as UCLA, Boston College, Denver University, Tufts, University of Colorado Denver, University of Colorado Boulder, Willam and Mary, Emory, University of Texas, Mines, University of Louisiana, and more.

Currently, we are accepting clients nationwide for both in-person sessions and via Zoom.

Our services include the Barton Reading and Spelling Method (for dyslexic children), executive functioning, academic coaching, reading intervention, math intervention, homework assistance, online school support, homeschooling support and test prep.
