Olga Patramanska-Bell

For nearly three decades, I've devoted my time and talent to playing the violin, and for the past 15 years, I have also been sharing my expertise through teaching. I am proud to hold a Masters Degree from the prestigious Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA, and a Bachelor's Degree from the esteemed Glier College of Music in Kiev, Ukraine, giving me the benefit of a truly global education. At present, I have the privilege of serving on the faculty at three exceptional schools: Powers School of Music in Belmont, MA, Winchester Community Music School in Winchester, MA, and Merrimack Valley Music School in Andover, MA. As a skilled soloist and chamber music performer, I have been fortunate to participate in a variety of musical endeavors, including playing with the Boston Philharmonic and Symphony NH. In my teaching practice, I embrace the opportunity to work with students of all ages and abilities, utilizing diverse educational materials and approaches to learn and play music. I believe it is important to focus on both note reading and ear training, while always prioritizing proper technique. My students come from diverse backgrounds and experience levels, including members of prestigious orchestras such as BYSO and NEC Prep School in Boston, as well as individuals who simply enjoy making music.
