NorthStar advised me that repairing my 20+ year old system was not economical, so I decided to replace the equipment. However, due to seasonal demand and inflation, we ended up paying a higher price than usual. Unfortunately, within six weeks of the new installation, we had to place a service call as the gas valve to the heater in the attic had not been reopened during installation, which should have been checked. Although the service request was handled quickly, the technician who came for the call upsold us on needing new ducting, something that was not included in our equipment quote. Despite this, NorthStar did a decent job overall, but given the premium price, I would recommend getting multiple quotes and not falling victim to weather-related discomfort.
