When we found Stan Antonevich for our son's violin lessons, we unearthed a rare treasure in our neighborhood. Stan is an exceptional violin virtuoso with a singular talent for imparting his deep mastery of violin playing to his students. In just a few months of studying with Stan, our son's appreciation for the violin's sound quality, as well as his proficiency in proper techniques, has markedly improved. Stan's teaching has kindled our son's interest in classical music and motivates him to practice every day.
As a fellow musician and violinist, I have known Stan for over fifteen years, having worked with him as a concertmaster or soloist in many orchestras in New England. His remarkable leadership skills and elegant violin playing have always been a source of inspiration to me. Stan is passionate about teaching and maintains high standards for his students, much like he does for himself as a performer. His dedication and expertise as a teacher make him an ideal mentor for students who aspire to reach the highest level of proficiency.
Stan's students not only excel in their musical skills but also develop a deep appreciation for the expressive power of the violin. As an artist, Stan believes that the violin can communicate any emotion to the audience, from joy to sorrow, through the music. His interpretations of pieces such as Schindler's List or Bruch's violin concerto are moving and evoke vivid images in the listener's mind.
Teaching is an essential part of Stan's life, and it complements his artistic pursuits. He started giving private violin lessons while studying for his Masters' degree at the Longy School of Music. Teaching the violin is akin to being a doctor, constantly diagnosing the student's playing and devising ways to improve it. For Stan, teaching and performing are complementary, and he enjoys both equally. Sharing his music with the audience during his performances fulfills a vital aspect of his identity as a violinist, while passing his knowledge to the younger generation as a teacher brings him joy and balance in life.

I would like to dedicate a few words to Stanislav Antonevich, who not only holds worldwide acclaim as a violin virtuoso, but is also an outstanding violin instructor. Our son Max has been under Stanislav's tutelage for a year now, and in this comparatively brief time frame, he has demonstrated remarkable advancements in both his violin techniques and musical expressions. Stanislav is exceedingly generous in sharing all his knowledge and passion with his students. Max eagerly anticipates every lesson and gears up for it with utmost dedication, as he deeply admires his teacher and strives to emulate him in the future.
We had more than a few options for violin teachers, yet we ultimately opted for Stanislav. Our decision was finalized after viewing a few of Stanislav's YouTube videos, where his impressive emotional prowess perforates through the audience's hearts. The violin in his hands sings, cries, and even laughs! Naturally, our son felt exceedingly proud when he became Stanislav's student.

I am writing to share my son Max's wonderful experience with Stanislav Antonevich, a world-renowned violin virtuoso and exceptional teacher. Despite only studying with him for a year, Max has made tremendous progress in his technique and performance under Stanislav's guidance. Stanislav generously shares his knowledge and passion for music with his students, and Max looks forward to every lesson and prepares seriously because he admires his teacher greatly and aspires to play like him one day.
We chose Stanislav as Max's teacher after watching his emotionally charged and virtuosic performances on YouTube. Seeing the violin sing, cry, and laugh in Stanislav's hands left no doubt in our minds that he was the best fit for our son. Max is proud to be a student of such a talented musician and teacher.
Sincerely,

After studying with various violin instructors for two years, my daughter began taking lessons with Mr. Antonevich. Within two sessions, her violin skills showed tremendous improvement. She had finally corrected her posture, something that had eluded her for the past two years. The noticeable enhancement in her sound makes her happier. This year, she was chosen to be the first seat in her school's orchestra. My daughter thoroughly enjoys her lessons with Mr. Antonevich.
