After being contacted for an estimate, I received a quote of $175-$200 based on the problem at hand. When the contractors arrived, they identified the issue as a spring and I agreed to have it repaired. However, I was surprised to find a bill for $265, which included a $49 service fee. Furthermore, I am now having to rent a power washer to remove the puddles of oil left on my front porch. In the end, I paid a total of $216, which is twice the amount quoted by other contractors.
