Description:

My passion for both music and teaching has led me to experience an incredibly fulfilling career. It brings me immense joy to guide students through their musical journeys, witnessing their progress and helping them reach their goals. Regardless of skill level, I enjoy teaching students of all ages between the ages of 6 and 18.

With over 20 years of experience, I hold a degree in Education with an Arts emphasis, and have taught at numerous schools and music studios throughout Saratoga, Los Gatos, Morgan Hill, and San Jose. Presently, I conduct in-person and online lessons from my studio in Morgan Hill.

My students are exposed to both classical and contemporary music, with an emphasis on sight reading, theory, and technique. Additionally, they have the chance to participate in two recitals each year.

I highly recommend Mrs. Nancy as a piano instructor for anyone starting out. She tailors each lesson to the individual student's needs, ensuring they receive optimal learning outcomes. Mrs. Nancy doesn't limit the experience to a traditional student-instructor dynamic; rather, she adds personal touches to make it more colorful while maintaining professionalism. Having studied with Mrs. Nancy for 2.5 years, I've come a long way from my initial lack of piano knowledge and inability to read music. Currently, I'm in the midst of mastering Yiruma's "Kiss the Rain" thanks to her guidance.

For nearly four years, Nancy has been coaching my son in piano. Not only is she patient with him, but she also motivates him to push beyond his potential.
