We offer dog training in Illinois Chicagoland and Indiana. You can find us on Instagram at @Mydogrehab. My name is Gerard, and I specialize in training dogs through body language and energy communication. I use positive reinforcement techniques to teach your dog new behaviors while keeping their unique personality intact. My methods are easy for dogs to understand, and most customers only require 2-3 training sessions. I don't offer group lessons because they can be distracting for your dog, especially puppies. Instead, I provide personalized, one-on-one training that bridges the language barrier between you and your dog. My partner, Peekaboo, and I work as a team to rehabilitate other dogs, addressing issues like anxiety, aggression, and insecurities. Because of his anxious and rowdy behavior, I sent my pup to My Dog Rehab. Throughout the week, I received daily updates in the form of videos and texts that showcased his progress. After spending several weeks searching for a credible dog trainer for my six-month-old German Rottweiler, I concluded that Gerard was the perfect fit. He exceeded my expectations, leaving me with no regrets. Prior to Gerard's training, my dog had several anxiety issues, poor socializing skills, a biting habit, and would refuse to abide by my commands. Gerard's knowledge of dog behavior is astounding, making him an amazing resource to us. He pinpointed how we were unintentionally supporting our dogs' bad behavior and anxiety. Thanks to Gerard's instruction, we learned how to prevent our dogs from jumping up and pulling on their leash. Additionally, he was able to put an end to our dogs begging at the table. Gerard's expertise granted us insight into our dogs' needs and behavior. It is now our responsibility to continue reinforcing calm and respectful conduct in them.
