Music Lessons by Steve Latt

For six years and ongoing, Steve Latanision has been instructing our son, Joseph, on the guitar, mandolin, and violin. Steve's exceptional approach with children and skill in multiple music styles has made him a true master. Under Steve's guidance, Joseph has been studying jazz, bluegrass, Irish folk, classical, and music theory. Furthermore, Steve has devoted himself to our son's musical education, even assisting Joseph with audition and concert music. With enthusiasm, Joseph anticipates numerous years of learning from Steve!

For about two years now, I've been taking mandolin and guitar lessons from Steve as an adult student. Without question, I would recommend him to anyone looking to pursue their interest in music. Steve's approachable teaching style and ability to both play and teach these instruments exceptionally well make him an outstanding instructor. He's introduced me to various music theory concepts while encouraging me to find my own unique style that reflects my personal musical preferences. Steve is not just a guitar teacher; he teaches you how to read music and understand music theory. Through his teachings, you will come to appreciate different genres of music and maybe even pick up a new instrument or two. Thanks to Steve, I have acquired a mandolin and ukulele, as well as several guitars, which he is currently teaching me how to play. Starting lessons with Steve on a whim was one of the best decisions I ever made. I have had an amazing experience learning about music and how to play an instrument, and I owe a great deal of gratitude to Steve for making it such an enjoyable journey.
