Msquared Interior Design was established in 2020 by Michael, who is a licensed psychologist, social worker, and veteran with a passion for interior design. Michael aims to provide captivating and affordable interior design services in the DMV area and beyond. He believes that the spaces he designs should be a reflection of the client's lifestyle and taste, and be a space they love to call home. Michael understands that there are real psychological effects from the decor in a space, and he ensures that each room is not only beautiful but also a happier and healthier place.
With his expertise in both interior design and psychology, Michael offers personalized consultation sessions where he gets to know each client to customize the space for them. He also offers a virtual design service where he spends time getting to know the client and their space over FaceTime or Zoom. This service includes helping clients update their space, select new paint, or arrange their current furniture. After the consult, Michael sends visual examples of items discussed, empowering the client to feel confident to implement the changes on their own and save money.
If a client wants Michael to shop for items for them, he charges $100 an hour and sends links for them to purchase items online at any store of their choice. Overall, Michael's goal is to create personalized designs that are not only beautiful but also a reflection of the client's personality and lifestyle.
