The behavior exhibited was highly unprofessional. Instead of a work truck, they arrived in a Prius. Upon inspection of the aging washing machine bearing, they broke the cold water main without taking proper precautions to prevent water damage, causing water to gush all the way through the ceiling, ruining it entirely. It is common practice to turn off the water supply before commencing work, but this was not done. Such incompetence is unacceptable, and they should be liable for the damage they caused. The whole ordeal was terrible, and now I am burdened with the cost of fixing the water damage caused. What is even more frustrating is that they blamed the pipe's age for their mishap even though they could have avoide it by being more cautious in their work. Also, after all the trouble caused, I was still charged a service fee.
