Known as "the movement guru," Brent has led an active life from a young age, including backpacking at nine, summiting multiple mountains (including Mt Whitney and Mt Kilimanjaro), and completing numerous Half, Full, and Ultra Marathons. He is passionate about outdoor fitness and sharing his enthusiasm with others.
With over a decade of experience in training clients, Brent specializes in working with those 55 and older. He has trained clients in various settings, including hospitals, assisted living facilities, homes, and gyms since 2014. As a mobile personal trainer, he brings all necessary equipment to sessions and meets clients in their preferred locations.
Sessions are charged in 15-minute units and can be as short or long as the client requires, with the most popular session length being 30 minutes. Rates are transparent, with travel and tax included, and Brent offers a free consultation to prospective clients. Individual sessions cost $25 per unit, while partner sessions cost $35 per unit.
Brent holds certification as a personal trainer from the American Council in Exercise (ACE) and as a Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization Exercise Trainer (DNS-ET). He also has a BS in Kinesiology and an MS in Gerokinesiology from Cal State Fullerton and is a certified instructor for Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan.
In addition to training, Brent oversees the fitness program for a local senior community. When not working, he enjoys running the trails in the Open Space Preserves, cooking colorful meals, or spending time with his wife and their three dogs.
