As I worked on my first TED Talk, Jeff proved to be an excellent coach and mentor. As an Army officer, I was already accustomed to speaking before crowds, but I lacked the skills necessary to create, memorize, and effectively deliver a rehearsed speech. When discussing a familiar topic, impromptu speeches may suffice. However, when addressing a diverse audience, it requires a different approach. Though I was anxious and inexperienced, working with Jeff gave me confidence throughout the process.
