My name is Conor Peacock and I am the proprietor of More Barn Studios located in Stockton, New Jersey. I offer private cello, violin, and piano lessons both in person and online. As a professional sound engineer, I also provide recording services for various instruments, vocal ranges, and genres. More Barn Studios is a reputable performance venue, having hosted musicians from various parts of the US and other countries.

Ever since I was three years old, music has been my passion. I started with violin but switched to the cello when I was eight after being captivated by the Bach Cello Suites. Now, many years later, I find fulfillment in helping my students discover and nurture their musical passion. During our lessons, we explore music styles that pique their interest, and I employ techniques that encourage the study of performers and styles to expand their musical knowledge. My lessons are customized to my students' learning needs.

Conor is an exceptionally kind and skilled cello instructor whom I greatly admire. Despite feeling foolish at times, he pays close attention to my every query. Being a third-generation musician, I am adept at recognizing a topnotch teacher, and Conor certainly qualifies. He is patient and knowledgeable on the history of music, and his enthusiastic approach to not only performing, but also instructing is unmistakable. Every session leaving me feeling more passionate about playing the cello than I thought possible. Given that we live 3,000 miles apart, I take lessons with him via Skype, which is extremely convenient as I don't have to haul my cello around San Francisco or leave the comfort of my bedroom. Additionally, Conor is very considerate with regards to my health concerns. I endorse him with utmost confidence as the finest cello teacher I’ve ever known.
