Mimi’s Pet Paradise

As an independent caregiver, I am dedicated to caring for animals and would treat your pets as if they were my own. With four years of experience as a vet assistant, you can trust that your furry friends are safe in my hands.

Pet sitting/boarding has been a lifelong passion of mine, starting from a young age with family and friends' pets. As I grew older, I continued pet sitting to earn extra money and gained valuable experience in the business. I decided to turn my love for animals into a career, and started my own business to care for numerous furry companions.

Since graduating high school, I have worked as a dog walker for Wag and Rover in Orlando, and am now offering my services to help you walk your pets in Fruitland Park/Leesburg.

I am knowledgeable with all types of animals, having grown up with dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, farm animals, hamsters, rabbits, and birds. My father was a dog trainer, and I studied vet assistance, dog shows, and grooming to learn more about dogs. My experience with cats comes from vet assisting, pet adoption, and friendship. I learned about reptiles from my experience at Petsmart, my brother, and my cousin, and gained knowledge about fish through growing up with them and working at Petsmart. Through FFA, I cared for various farm animals, including horses, cows, pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, and ducks, and gained more experience in my vet assist classes. I also have experience with ferrets, rabbits, and hamsters from growing up with them and working with them at Petsmart. Lastly, I have personal experience with birds, and gained further education about them through working at Petsmart and my vet assist class.

In addition to pet care, I am happy to assist with basic household needs such as watering plants and bringing in mail. I am knowledgeable about plants thanks to my grandmother.
