I am thrilled to have been awarded the "Best of 2016" title by CrackerJack! My impressive background includes over 40 years of experience and a Master of Music degree. My specialty lies in teaching beginner to advanced guitar and beginner to intermediate piano to students range from 6 to 60+. I have received certification in Musikgarten and have extensive experience teaching young children through both classroom instruction and one-on-one lessons. Additionally, I am currently teaching elementary music at a school in Dearborn Heights. As an instructor, I like to blend what the student is interested in playing with the necessary skills they need to develop. I will teach students how to read music, practice efficiently, and even some music by memory. There is nothing more gratifying than watching students excel and succeed beyond their expectations!
