With 25+ years of swimming experience and 10 years of coaching experience, I am a former Olympian in synchronized swimming. My swimming programs include a Water Safety Program for infants, kids, and adults at all skill levels who want to learn basic swimming skills ranging from breath control to survival stroke. I also offer a Technique and Stroke Development Program for entry-level and competitive swimmers, an Aqua Fitness Weight Loss Program for adults looking to tone muscle and lose weight, and a Performance Training Program for advanced and competitive swimmers preparing for specific events such as swimming meets, triathlons, and physical tests for military or police. In addition to these programs, I also offer a Be a Mermaid Program for kids and adults who want to train with either a monofin or a mermaid tail. I am certified in First Aid and CPR by the American Red Cross and hold a Water Safety Instructor certification.

As a mother of twin boys, both of whom are 3 years old, I have a large pool in my house that is not fenced. For this reason, I decided to teach my sons how to swim in case they accidentally fall in the water. On the recommendation of some of my friends, we hired Ilona to help. Since Ilona started coming over to our house to swim with the boys, they have become incredibly fond of her.
