Merrimack Valley Wellness Associates provides fitness and nutrition coaching services that can be accessed from the comfort of your home or in our beautiful, spacious facility located on the border of Andover and South Lawrence.

Our aim is to support you in establishing effective and personalized exercise routines that are tailored to your specific needs. We want to help you build strength, kickstart your metabolism, and optimize your functional movement.

We also create healthy and sustainable meal plans that are suited to your unique metabolic needs. And unlike other programs, our plans don't consist of the same boring chicken, rice, and broccoli every day.

As the Founder and Head Coach of Merrimack Valley Wellness Associates, my name is George Kalil. I studied Personal Training through International Sports Science Association and earned my ASFA Advanced Personal Training Certification, along with a certification in Sports Nutrition in 2016.

I have a personal connection to fitness and wellness, having battled anorexia in my teenage years. This experience led me to develop a deep admiration for natural and healthy bodybuilding, as well as an appreciation for the journey towards self-acceptance.

You may have known us as "GK Wellness" on CrackerJack before. However, we have recently expanded our team, adding two new coaches, Pauline and Jenny, to serve the Merrimack Valley community even better. Hence, we adopted our new name - Merrimack Valley Wellness Associates.

We have successfully trained clients from all walks of life, even those with disabilities and special nutritional requirements. We understand that health and fitness are not one-size-fits-all, and we strive to make each program as personalized as possible.

We've happily maintained 60% of our client base for over two years with no long-term commitments required. We offer convenient training options including travel to you, remote training via Zoom/Meets, or sessions in our home gym, Flow Fitness.

Due to my back degenerative disease, I required assistance in strengthening my core. I had reached a point where I was apprehensive to move due to the excruciating pain, which only deteriorated my muscles further. Although I didn't want to enrol in a gym, the fact that a trainer could come to my house was a significant benefit. It's effortless to find excuses not to visit the gym, but with Pauline showing up at home, I was compelled to work out. Pauline is simply incredible, with extensive knowledge and tremendous patience. In addition to providing an excellent training session, we also share a lot of laughter. Since her help, my back feels much better, and I feel significantly stronger. Within only three months, I can do things that previously caused me problems, such as getting on the floor and standing back up without difficulty or climbing the stairs without holding on to the railing. These achievements are significant wins for me! Whenever Pauline introduces a new exercise (currently full-body workouts), I initially doubt my ability to perform it. Nevertheless, with her support and guidance, I have amazed myself by successfully completing the exercise. She's truly the best! I'm ecstatic to have signed up for another six months, and I can't express my gratitude enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you a million times!

In light of current global concerns, I sought out a gym for myself and my 14-year-old son. George proved to be an excellent personal trainer, crafting workout routines that we could do as a team. Each session was novel and demanding, though George aptly recognized when it was time to ease off.
