As Atlanta’s most diverse DJ, I offer an extensive repertoire spanning R&B, Hip-Hop, House, Afrobeat, Dancehall, Reggae, Latin, Pop/Rock, Country, and Oldies. My services also include lighting and MCing, or I can bring in my professional partner to make your event even more special. If your venue requires it, I can provide commercial insurance as well.
Having played over 75 events since moving to Atlanta in 2015, and previously in the Chicago/northern Illinois area, I prioritize catering to the audience’s preferences over adhering to a pre-made playlist. Song requests are always welcome, and I draw from my experience to keep the party going.
Music and dancing are integral parts of my life, and I find joy in playing music that energizes and excites the crowd. As events are typically celebratory in nature, be it a birthday, retirement, wedding, or holiday gathering, I approach each function with enthusiasm, sometimes even joining in on the line dances from my DJ table. While professional, it never feels like work to me.

Amidst our open-air nuptials, an unexpected torrential rainstorm ensued. Nevertheless, DJ Old Soul persevered and sustained the momentum of the celebration despite the pools of water that accumulated around us. The entire wedding was filled with nonstop dancing thanks to Dj Monte. He arrived on time and was appropriately dressed for the formal occasion. Despite some unforeseen last-minute adjustments, he adapted and the guests were completely unaware. Moreover, he flawlessly played every song from the designated list.
