Working with the Mauka Boys was an awesome experience; I had the pleasure of speaking with Dean Hirata. Their prices are reasonable and they are prompt with timing. Notably, they arrived an hour before the scheduled start time and ended on time. Even with a last-minute request to sing "Happy Birthday", they were accommodating and obliging. They happily continued singing so we could prepare the cake and candles and never complained about overtime. The guests even took pictures with the group after they had cleaned up! They engaged the crowd with jokes and small talk. It was such a great experience that I would definitely book the Mauka Boys again.

The Makua Boyz were hired to perform at a large symposium hosted at Hilton Waikiki Beach Hotel. Dean, their representative, stood out for his proactive approach, ensuring that they arrived ahead of schedule to set up and even included a dancer in their performance. Attendees were impressed with the band's excellent entertainment, variety of music, and overall fun vibe. Additionally, Dean showed great understanding of our accounting process during the busy holiday season and was patient with us throughout.
