Are you struggling to assist your child with their math homework? It's common for parents to feel uncomfortable or inexperienced with math, causing frustration when trying to help their child. These difficulties can lead to negative emotions, including sadness, anger, or shame.
With many years of experience as a math teacher and tutor, I take a personalized approach with each student. My goal is to help them understand their homework while also making math enjoyable.
I offer virtual tutoring sessions through Zoom and primarily work with students in grades 5 through 10. I would love to offer a free consultation to discuss your child's needs and determine if we'd be a good match for working together.

Having been away from school for several years, I required a recap of algebra to aid in a financial analytics course at the graduate level. Jilena promptly replied to my plea for assistance and managed to accommodate two sessions in a brief timeframe that suited my schedule. This ultimately helped me pass my final exam. If necessary, I would not hesitate to seek additional sessions. Her utilization of a virtual whiteboard to demonstrate equation solving was incredibly beneficial. Furthermore, she checked up on me after my exam to inquire about my progress. It was an excellent experience.
