Teaching one-on-one or in small groups is my passion. Through subjects such as Math, Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Economics, and Spanish Language, I have been able to help students improve their reasoning and share the joy of learning. As a retired (semi-retired) college teacher with over 30 years of experience in college-level teaching and high school-level tutoring for college prep, I am able to identify students' strengths and weaknesses to provide targeted tutorial sessions. I excel at clarifying complex topics, which boosts students' confidence in the subject. I bring this same approach to help challenged students achieve success. Additionally, I offer bilingual tutorial sessions in Spanish-Italian-Portuguese-English.
My translation services extend to medical, legal, academic, technical, and literary translation from Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and English. As a multilingual professional, I can offer both online and in-person translation services.
In regards to test prep, I am Instructor Eric M, MSE from EMICH.EDU and WCC college campus. I have been teaching SAT, PSAT, ACT prep, CLEP, Compass, and entrance exam prep sessions for over a decade. My approach includes conducting mock test simulations, clarifying tactical solutions, and working on strategies to enhance efficiency. I have seen great results from this method, which has boosted my students' scores to the 90th percentile or even as high as 95%+. I offer both online and in-person test prep sessions on weekdays and weekends, in well-ventilated locations such as library-cafes or campus spaces.

Erig shows great dedication by working tirelessly, even sacrificing his own time to offer late-night tutoring sessions in order to accommodate the time difference. With his vast knowledge and experience in Mathematics, students benefit greatly from his teachings. However, it would be beneficial if he could take a moment during his sessions to ask students if they have any questions about the material he has covered.

Mr. Erig is an exceptional tutor who exceeded my expectations. I required a math tutor who was fluent in Spanish since my daughter is currently studying in Spain and struggling to comprehend her math teacher. Mr. Erig utilized Skype to communicate with her and analyze her Spanish homework and assignments. His teaching style is patient and engaging, and my daughter felt more confident and accomplished in her math studies. Although we only required his services for basic math, he has extensive knowledge of all areas and can even act as a translator and assist with science. In addition, Mr. Erig was accommodating with our schedule despite the six hour time zone difference. I highly recommend him to anyone searching for a reputable and effective tutor.
