I am Curt, the owner and operator of Marty's Stump Removal (MSR), a family owned business for over 25 years. We specialize in the removal of large stumps.
Our pricing is determined by the size of the stump, disposal of grindings add-on, hourly rate for larger projects, and acreage. Please note that our minimum fee is $150.
As a potential customer, there are a few initial questions to consider. We require at least 7 feet of horizontal clearance to gain access to the stump and dry ground conditions are necessary due to the weight of our 2.5 ton grinder.

Our front yard had a crab tree that was always sickly and an overgrown globe arborvitae. However, the removal and stump grinding of both plants by these guys were amazing. Curt used the stump grinder to go down three feet, and he even uprooted many large roots manually so that we could replant in the same spots. They also cleaned up the work area nicely and tried to save as much of the grass as possible. And all of this at a fair price. We are extremely pleased with the outcome!
