Description:

Paola, my voice student, deserves congratulations for her achievement in joining the touring cast of “Disney on Ice: Road Trip Adventures” as Moana. She will be showcasing her incredible talents in the in-person VIP experience, entertaining children all over the US and Canada.

I would also like to extend congratulations to my student Daniel, whose new album "What I Romanticized" has been successfully streaming. And to Viviana, who has landed her first junior high school production role in "Newsies," Danielle as "Mr. Mayor" in her senior-year high school production of "Seussical the Musical" and Kaytee as "Babette" in her first high school production of "Beauty and the Beast."

I express my pleasure in providing music lessons, so please review my profile below carefully to make sure my professional experience and background align with your musical goals before contacting me. As a caveat, CrackerJack.com requires us to pay a substantial fee to respond to quote requests, hence wanting to ensure you are comfortable with me as your teacher.

For now, I offer remote piano and voice lessons only via Zoom until further notice. Once COVID-19 subsides, students can resume traveling to my home studio in North Brunswick, NJ, for lessons.

Teaching piano and voice brings me immense joy, and for over 45 years, I have been fortunate to help students, young and old, reach their desired musical goals. Whether it's teaching budding pianists how to play or sharpening the skills of seasoned professionals, singing lessons to enhance a singer's capabilities or honing it into pure magic, creating an environment that is fun and motivating is how I work.

What excites me the most is when my students attain a breakthrough moment, and they recognize the progress they've made through hard work and perseverance. I've been playing the piano since I was ten years old, singing and acting since the sixth grade, and working as a professional musician at 13. Everything that I teach, I have experienced first-hand, including working as the Music Director and Accompanist in school, community, and professional theatres for over thirty years. Additionally, I have used professional recording equipment in my home studio, which allows me to produce demos, backing tracks, and recordings for my students to use as a learning tool or for auditions and performances.

My studio is equipped with computers that offer access to a vast library of music, enabling us to expand our repertoire. Some of my students have gone on to surprise their loved ones with holiday albums or even become YouTube sensations.

Marty has been teaching my granddaughter Ali on a weekly basis for the last 6 weeks. We noticed some improvement even after her first lesson. Ali's excitement, confidence, and range have increased with each lesson. She can now hold a note for a longer time, which makes her incredibly happy. We appreciate Marty's efforts.

Marty is truly amazing! He motivated me, praised my skills, motivated me to keep going, and taught me different tips and tricks to build up my confidence and take part in the auditions for the worship band of my church! I highly suggest going to him! Trust me, you won't regret having Marty as your mentor!

Marty is a fantastic teacher and an even better person. His respectful demeanor and ability to instill a sense of accomplishment in his students make each lesson a joy. I consistently leave our meetings with a greater sense of happiness than when I arrived, a feeling that grows stronger with each session. Whether you're new to singing or have some experience, Marty dedicates himself to catching and correcting your errors. Furthermore, he opened up the world of musical theater and jazz to me, which has not only helped me develop a new singing style but has also allowed me to enhance my own music. At $60 per hour, I believe his rates for singing lessons are unbeatable. The only potential drawback is the sheer number of students he has, which can make it challenging to contact him or reschedule classes on occasion. However, I've never found this to be too much of an issue and doubt that many others would either. In summary, Marty is an outstanding person, a great teacher, and offers excellent value for money. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in need of singing lessons.

Marty imparted skills to my daughter for singing with greater intensity, proper breathing patterns, and most importantly bolstered her poise whilst utilizing her vocal abilities. Without hesitation, I would strongly endorse Marty for voice training.
